It is completely frost-resistant and very easy to cultivate. It likes the exhibition towards the south, but also tolerates semi-shaded stands. The philadelphus grows well in any average garden soil, from acidic to alkaline. It is resistant to drought and frost, does not require special care or covering for the winter. It puts up with cutting.
